The Grace Field Fund

Named for Marilyn Joan Hadfield

Her name carries the whole idea: Joan means grace. Hadfield means field. This fund is grace, extended in the field, to a woman in a hard season — the same way it was extended to us. Read her story on the Our Story page — she’s the reason this whole company exists.

A portion of every Esther & Ruth purchase goes directly to women who are starting over: rebuilding after a hard season, finishing something they had to pause, or just needing a bridge to get to the next one.

We help with things like
  • — Back taxes or a tax bill that’s become a barrier to moving forward
  • — Childcare costs so you can finish a degree or certification you had to put on hold
  • — Emergency basic-needs support during a career or life transition
  • — Small grants for women re-entering the workforce after a gap

This isn’t a loan program. There’s no interest, no repayment, and no fine print designed to catch you. We read every story.
